Have you searched Aminet yet?There are a couple of freeware
sample editors there.I`d expect that they would handle the 4meg
files fine,but would probably die when confronted with the
1.2gig one:)Unfortunately,as good as SoundFX is(damm good)its
virtual memory support isn`t.Soundprobe might be worth a try,
It has a specific storage buffer for editing AIFF samples
directly.Never tried it myself though.
